The inaugural SPUG meeting was held on 10 th July 2008 at Jambu Restaurant in Kuching where Primavera users gathered to hear a presentation from Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation’ Hafiz who showed how Primavera was configured to control the construction of living quarters platform F23 and F6 for Sarawak Shell.
PCSS also presented on the principles of Earned Value Management (EVM) and how Primavera utilizes EVM to justify project progress claims. The latest features in Primavera release V6.1 was also presented.
Present at the SPUG were representatives from PPES Works, Sanmina SCI and Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works.
